Great experience with renting the car. We chose Reno Clio, the car was almost brand new with only 900km on the meter. Everything was smooth, no issues with the rental process. The initial inspection was very thorough during to make sure all the damage is properly recorded. We were able to pay the deposit with a credit card, which was returned one day after the rental finished. Great price, great service, highly recommend the company. On the side note I don't recommend driving in the city itself. The location is quite busy and returning the car at 17 was stressful, but it's more of a feature of the city. The traffic is very chaotic so if you want to visit the city it may be easier to actually park somewhere outside and use public transportation which isn't bad. After renting the car, just leave the city and visit Arles, Cassis, Calanques National Park, Camrague National Park, Lac de Sainte Croix at many more thing the Provance has to offer.

*CAR NOT SAFE* Rent a PEUGEOT 208 PT75 ACTIVE from 18th June to 25th. The car wasn’t easy to drive. The reverse gear was a bit tampered. And the first gear seems needing a lot of gas to push forwarded. This car was not safe for French roads. Too many horrendous drivers on roads. If you are traveling to some small towns in the area, please avoid this car. It’s not safe for you to drive with. I mostly traveled in the south. nice, Cannes, Menton, and Marseilles. I made some scratches because of reversing gear s not working as it should be. They charged me 450+ Euros for that after taking off insurance coverage. And I still haven’t received an invoice. Or the full report of the car repaired check or any proof. I think staff were okay. But it’s not very English friendly. There were some fine prints and inside norms that non French renters should be careful. I think it makes this place get almost 5 stars. It’s because other places just too bad. This place should not get a five star.

after reading a lot of negative reviews of other car rentals around Marseille airport I have decided to take the train and go to Olympic location near Marseille Saint Charles train statio. Yes you will probably pay a bit extra and it's a bit inconvenient to travel from the airport with a train however the travel from Vitrolles Garre to Marseille St Charles only last less than 20 minutes and costs around 6€. The customer service is top knotch and you deal with a real business not a scamming one.
